Legs and Cardio – Round 3

Z134Time to prove yourself. This is probably the most intense Leg and Cardio workout from the Split(ish)  Fitness Program; but rightfully so. Every moment in the gym during leg day has led up to this- and its sink or swim! Although, I don’t recommend trying to swim after this workout, you won’t be able to tread water.

 

Exercise Rep Range
1a. Box Squats 5 sets
Use a CORE BALL, not bench 20 each-switch every rep
1b. Jumping Lunges SUPERSET WITH
Hold weights, alternate lunge each jump 1 minute after each set
2a. Split Squats 5 sets- alternate each rep
15 each leg
SUPERSET WITH
2b. High Knees 5 sets
1 minute
3a. Jump Rope High Speed
switch styles every minute 5 minutes
3b. Run 1 mile 7mph @ 2.0 incline
4a. KettleBell Sumo Squats 3 sets of 25
SUPERSET WITH
4b. Squat Jumps 3 sets for 30 seconds each
5. Squat and Lunge* 3 sets
15, 12, 10
6. Run a Mile No slower than 6mph
at 2% incline
7. Walk 20 minutes
4mph @ 3.0 incline
